University of Sussex Students' Union is seeking friendly, charismatic Events Crew to help deliver Sussex Freshers 2026. Roles include box office sales, event setup, stewarding, tours, flyering and general assistance at major events.

The post is fixed-term with an initial 25–30 hours during Freshers’ Week, then zero-hours, with evening and weekend work. Rate of pay is £15.07 per hour (£13.45 basic + £1.62 holiday). Applications from current Sussex, IDS or BSMS students encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist with box office ticket sales and event setup.
• Steward events, lead tours on campus and in town.
• Flyer distribution, promotion and general support during major Freshers’ Week events.
