Love working in the kitchen but hate the unsociable hours? A position within our Central Hub could be perfect for you!

Based just on the outskirts of Walton-on-Trent, we have an incredible production kitchen which plays an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of our 7 pubs across the Midlands. The hub is an incredibly busy operation, covering all areas of food preparation process, including fresh produce, raw & cooked meats, and our delicious desserts. We need chefs with high attention to detail who can ensure quality and consistency across their designated areas.

It all started back in 2007 when Loren agreed to Richard's crazy dream, and they together purchased the Bulls Head in Repton. Fast forward 17 years, and they have a thriving pub business with 7 gorgeous sites, over 500 employees, an industry-leading food & drink menu, and a fun fact—7 mascot alpacas!

Driven by their vision to become the top pub brand in the Midlands, they’re passionate about finding superstars to live and breathe their values and ensure all guests are truly wowed by their Chilled Pub experience. With no signs of slowing down, Richard and Loren are always on the lookout for their next project and aim to reach a portfolio of 20 pubs in the near future.

What the role entails?

• Ensuring food safety compliance across all operations.
• Checking fresh produce deliveries and removing items that do not meet quality standards.
• Working at assigned stations such as dessert, raw meat, or pizza sections, including preparing, marinating, and assembling.
• Supporting the Hub team with deliveries, offloading, and loading vans for pub drops.
• Assisting the wider team with food prep across sections, working with all food products.
