From a Bradford market stall to the UK’s fifth largest supermarket, we are proud to be the Yorkshire food retailer serving customers across the UK with almost 500 stores and an online home delivery service.

Our business mainly focuses on food & grocery, and uniquely, we source & process most of the fresh food we sell through our own manufacturing facilities.


We’re recruiting a high-performing Fresh Food Manager to help our business continue to grow and succeed.


Our Fresh Food Managers take pride in product availability, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do, and delivering exceptional customer service by listening and responding to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and empower colleagues to prioritize customer service.
  • Respond to customer feedback and adapt accordingly.
  • Ensure market-leading product availability across the store.
  • Collaborate with other managers to lead a supportive, performance-driven department.
  • Manage all people routines, including scheduling, absence, performance, and talent development.
  • Deliver training to build team capability and confidence.
  • Enable colleagues to work confidently across various departments.
  • Identify and develop talent within the department.
  • Build effective relationships with other departments.
  • Lead colleagues to achieve outstanding performance against targets.
  • Take a leadership role within the store.
  • Plan resources thoroughly.
