Job summary

Morrisons in High Wycombe is hiring a Fresh Food Manager to lead the team, keep our fresh counters vibrant, and ensure customers enjoy great, properly stocked food every day.

You will plan shifts, coach colleagues, and work with other Managers to drive availability, standards, and a positive store culture focused on service.

Our Fresh Food Managers take real pride in what goes on our shelves. With a genuine passion for produce and a keen eye for detail, you'll put our customers at the heart of everything you do, making sure our stores are stocked with proper good food every day.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll bring a proactive attitude to lead your team, keep availability high, and deliver outstanding service to our local community.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Inspire your team to deliver friendly, attentive service, actively listening to customer feedback and keeping our fresh counters vibrant and fully stocked.
• Lead and coach your team: Manage shift scheduling, training, and talent development, giving colleagues the confidence and capability to succeed in their roles.
• Build a supportive culture: Partner with other Managers to lead an encouraging, performance-driven department where colleagues work with purpose.
• Plan and deliver standards: Manage department routines thoroughly, ensuring market-leading product availability, safe and legal compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations.
