Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Fresh Food Manager to lead our store's fresh counters and ensure customers are at the heart of every decision. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will drive availability, coach your team, and maintain high standards of product quality and food safety.

You’ll plan shifts, train colleagues, and work with other managers to create a positive, performance-driven culture that delivers outstanding service to the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coaching a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
• Ability to plan shifts and develop talent across the store team.
• Strong collaboration with other managers to drive a supportive culture.

Our Fresh Food Managers take real pride in what goes on our shelves. With a genuine passion for produce and a keen eye for detail, you'll put our customers at the heart of everything you do, making sure our stores are stocked with proper good food every day.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll bring a proactive attitude to lead your team, keep availability high, and deliver outstanding service to our local community.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Inspire your team to deliver friendly, attentive service, actively listening to customer feedback and keeping our fresh counters vibrant and fully stocked.
• Lead and coach your team: Manage shift scheduling, training, and talent development, giving colleagues the confidence and capability to succeed in their roles.
• Build a supportive culture: Partner with other Managers to lead an encouraging, performance-driven department where colleagues work with purpose.
• Plan and deliver standards: Manage department routines thoroughly, ensuring market-leading product availability, safe and legal compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations.
