Job summary

Morrisons Market Street is recruiting a skilled Fishmonger to join our fresh fish counter. You’ll scale, skin, fillet and pin-bone fish to customer specs, share cooking tips, and help in-store and online shoppers enjoy ready-to-cook seafood.

Reporting to the Market Street Manager, you’ll keep displays vibrant, follow safety guidelines, manage temperature controls and allergens, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service to build sales and trust with customers.

Qualifications

• Competent in cleaning, preparing, filleting, pin boning, scaling, skinning and gutting products.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first by delivering friendly, helpful service and sharing specialist preparation and cooking advice to boost sales.
• Prepare quality catches by filleting, scaling, skinning, pin boning, gutting, cutting, weighing and pricing to exact specifications.
• Maintain vibrant displays by keeping fresh fish displays well-stocked, fresh and attractive throughout the trading day.
