We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic French Teacher to join the school's successful Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) faculty. This position is initially offered on an interim basis, with the potential for extension or a permanent role for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging, high-quality French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), and to inspire students to develop a lasting love for languages and global culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, effective lessons in French to a range of year groups
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual learners, including those with SEND or EAL
• Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and departmental planning
• Promote cultural understanding and the value of language learning
• Support with language-related clubs, trips, or events as appropriate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching French at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
