Job summary

Les Petites Etoiles West Hampstead is seeking a French Teacher for Early Years in our bilingual nursery. This is a permanent, full-time role (38 hours/week, Monday to Friday) with a starting salary of £25,115. Visa sponsorship is available to discuss at interview. If unqualified in Early Years, we can support your studies.

The nursery chain offers a nurturing bilingual environment with quality training and opportunities for internal growth, set in North London.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year childcare experience, preferably in a nursery.
• Must be a first-language French speaker with solid English.
• Willing to undertake an Early Years qualification if unqualified.

Responsibilities

• Teach French through play and activities with nursery children.
• Support daily routines, supervise activities and prepare materials.
• Assist with children’s personal care and well-being.
• Support the Key Person with day-to-day duties.

We have a position for a French Teacher for Early Years in our nursery in West Hampstead.

This is a permanent position, full-time 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary: starting from £25,115, depending on Qualification

Paid holidays: 5 -7 weeks per year, depending on Qualification
If you are not qualified in Early Years, we can support your studies.

French Teacher Role

• Teaching French through play and activities to the children.
• Assisting with all daily routines, supervising the children in their daily activities, helping to organise and prepare activities and materials
• Supporting the children with their personal care routines.
• Supporting the Key Person with duties that must be carried out throughout the day.

Desirable Experience

• at least one year experience in childcare, prefereble in a nursery setting.

Study Requirement

*Unqualified candidateswill be required to undertake an Early Years qualification recognised by OFSTED (Level 3) after successfull probation period. We will pay for this qualification.
