A prestigious Girls' School in Richmond upon Thames is seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher (French Specialist) to join our Languages department. We seek an educator who can inspire a love for the French language and culture in our students.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging French lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including A-Level.
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that incorporate authentic resources and cultural experiences.
  • Facilitate interactive language practice and encourage students to develop fluency and accuracy in French.
  • Assess student progress through speaking, listening, reading, and writing tasks, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as French clubs, film screenings, and trips abroad, to enhance student learning.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in French or Modern Foreign Languages.
  • Extensive experience teaching French to A-Level, with a proven track record of achieving excellent student results.
  • Native or near-native fluency in French and a deep understanding of French culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
