Job Description:

A developing Independent School in Brent is seeking a passionate and fluent French Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their French language skills and cultural understanding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective French lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Prepare students for GCSE French examinations.
• Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in French.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and resources.
• Encourage appreciation for French language and culture.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialization in French or Modern Foreign Languages.
• Proven secondary level teaching experience in French (Key Stages 3 & 4).
• Native or near-native fluency in French.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate students of all abilities in French.
• Commitment to teamwork and a supportive school environment.
