Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a Secondary French Teacher on behalf of a private school just outside Winchester. The role is KS3/4, part-time (Mon, Tue, Thu) with a September 2026 start and potential extension.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging French lessons, uphold high expectations, differentiate for SEND, and work collaboratively to support pupil progress while ensuring safeguarding. QTS with enhanced DBS is required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
• Proven experience teaching French to GCSE level.
• Strong safeguarding awareness and ability to work with diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging KS3/KS4 French lessons.
• Maintain high expectations and strong classroom management.
• Differentiate instruction to meet SEND needs and support pupil progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Contract Type: Part time
Pay: £180-£230 per day
