Job description

This school is seeking an enthusiastic and talented French Teacher to join a modern languages department. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by fostering a love of languages and developing students’ confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing in French. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a French Teacher:

  • Teach French across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5

  • Plan engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and cultural awareness

  • Monitor and support pupil progress, offering timely feedback

  • Contribute to the development of language learning resources

  • Engage in the wider life of the school, including trips and enrichment

Ideal French Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in French or Modern Foreign Languages

  • Strong subject knowledge and a clear passion for language teaching

  • Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills as a French Teacher.
