About the Role

The Quality First Education Trust is seeking a Teacher of French to join us in September 2025.

You will deliver specialist Modern Foreign Language (MFL) provision, teaching French to children in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6) at our Primary School. All classes have a French lesson every week. We are open to applicants seeking part-time hours.

Responsibilities
  • Be an excellent teacher, using a range of strategies to meet children's needs.
  • Be fluent in French and English, with strong subject knowledge and understanding of the wider Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
  • Set targets for children's learning, assess, record, and report on their achievements, and use this information to inform your planning and teaching.
  • Develop, adapt, and enhance our French curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching resources to ensure they are of the highest quality.
  • Create engaging, ambitious, relevant, and nurturing French learning experiences.
