Responsibilities of the French Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and effective French lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Foster a love for languages through creative teaching and cultural exploration.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive modern languages department.
• Take part in school activities, parent meetings, and staff development.

French Teacher Skills & Qualification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred – but we welcome applications from:
  • Experienced Teaching Assistants.
  • Cover Teachers.
  • Native or fluent French speakers with teaching or academic experience.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for language education and student success.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
