Are you an ambitious and knowledgeable French Teacher looking for a fantastic opportunity to ignite the minds of students aged 11 to 16?

Career Teachers are seeking a qualified Teacher (QTS / QTLS) with experience of teaching French at KS3 and 4, for a secondary school based in South Birmingham. This is a part-time role, 3 days per week to start September 2024. This position is suitable for an experienced or ECT French Teacher.

You will be working in a progressive and inclusive secondary school who are dedicated to academic excellence and the personal growth of their students. They pride themselves on fostering a diverse and engaging learning environment. Our school are seeking a passionate French Teacher to join their staff team and inspire a love for the French language and culture in their students.

As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of varying abilities. You will create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and the development of communication skills in French. Your enthusiasm to students success will be key in promoting an appreciation of the French language and culture.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in French
• Teaching certificate and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Right to work in the UK.
• Proficient in French, both written and spoken
• Experience teaching French at KS3-4
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement
• Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
• Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
• Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
