Main Duties

• Manage your own client portfolio while leading and supporting junior staff to deliver high-quality accounting services, ensuring compliance, strong client relationships, and technical excellence.

The Role

• Full responsibility for your own portfolio of international clients.
• Oversee deliverables to meet standards and client expectations.
• Review and validate management reports, VAT returns, payroll, statutory accounts, and tax computations.
• Line manage junior team members, set priorities, conduct performance reviews, and support development.
• Provide technical guidance and training to ensure UK compliance.
• Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and act as the primary contact for queries.
• Support workflow planning, reporting, and risk monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with internal systems and processes.
• Contribute to process improvements and internal initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 3 years UK practice experience.
• Fluent in French to a business level (non-negotiable).
• Proven experience managing a portfolio with strong organizational skills.
• Experience managing at least one person or assistant.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, VAT, payroll, and basic corporation tax.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Sage, QuickBooks, Iris, Excel, and cloud-based tools.
• Sponsorship visa available for the right candidate.

Salary: £50,000 to £52,000 per annum plus full medical package, pension, and social activities.
