Salary: GBP26 - GBP30 per hour

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Job Type: Temporary 12-month contract

Location: Canary Wharf (hybrid: 4 days in office)

Pay Rate: £26-£30 p/h

Our client, a leading global financial services firm, is seeking a French-speaking Executive Assistant to join their Global Capital Markets team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the Global Co-Head of Private Capital Markets Group and a team of 8 bankers. The successful candidate will interact with internal colleagues and external clients, building and maintaining relationships across various business units.

What you'll do:
  1. Manage business schedules and maintain calendars for the team.
  2. Arrange internal and external meetings, video and phone calls.
  3. Coordinate all travel arrangements including flights, hotels, visas, currency, and ground transportation.
  4. Process monthly expenses in a timely manner using firm systems such as Concur.
  5. Maintain in-house Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  6. Provide phone cover and support to bankers outside of the designated team when other members are out of the office.
What you bring:
  1. Excellent time and priority management skills & flexibility.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and staff at all levels.
  3. Proactive approach with the ability to use own initiative and judgment.
  4. Highly organized with attention to detail.
  5. Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (Windows 10), particularly Outlook.
  6. Experience processing expenses online (e.g., on Concur).
  7. Experience booking travel via an online booking tool.
  8. Fluent in French and English.
