Job summary

Kimal is seeking a bilingual French and English Customer Service & Sales Support professional for a 12-month maternity cover at our Worcester site. You will support the French market with orders, inquiries, tenders and samples, working closely with Sales, Supply Chain and Finance.

Key responsibilities include handling customer orders in French and English, managing stock/backorders, and assisting the National Sales Manager with tenders.

Qualifications

• Fluent French and English required for daily customer interactions and sales support.
• Experience in customer service, sales support or similar commercial roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication in both languages.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Bilingual French & English Customer Service & Sales Support professional to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident French and English-speaking professional with experience in customer service, sales support or a similar commercial environment.

About the role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager – France, you will provide operational and commercial support for Kimal’s French market, acting as a key point of contact for customers and the French Sales Team.

You will support customer orders, product enquiries, tenders, samples, stock and backorders, while working closely with colleagues across Sales, Supply Chain, Production, Purchasing, Product Management, Specifications and Finance

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day customer service and sales support to French-speaking customers.
• Process customer orders accurately and proactively communicate updates in French and English.
• Support the National Sales Manager and Sales Team with French tenders, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Respond to product and technical enquiries, providing accurate information and identifying suitable alternatives where required.
• Advise on product specifications and cost-effective component selection.
• Liaise with the Specifications Team to ensure sterile and non-sterile samples are completed and dispatched on time.
• Review stock and backorder reports, proactively identifying issues and communicating solutions to customers and Key Account Managers.
• Support product swap-outs, discontinuations and product changes.
• Assist with accurate sales forecasting for Kimal products across the French market.
• Maintain accurate records and full traceability of work completed.
• Manage and prioritise a varied workload while meeting customer and business deadlines.
• Provide support and cover for other markets when required.

You will have:

• Fluent French and English language skills – essential.
• Demonstrable experience in Customer Service, Sales Support, Account Support or a similar commercial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Confidence handling inbound and outbound customer calls.
• Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to change.
