Job summary

EFFIGEST, a multidisciplinary accounting firm with offices in London, is seeking a bilingual (French/English) Accountant to manage a diversified client portfolio in both French and English accounting. Under the supervision of a Senior Accountant, you will perform day-to-day bookkeeping, prepare VAT returns and tax declarations, and provide advisory support to clients across sectors.

• Fluent in both French and English; prior accounting firm experience.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• BTS, DUT in Accounting, AAT or Part Qualified ACCA would be a plus.

Within the Accounting Expertise division, under the supervision of a Senior Accountant, you will manage a diversified client portfolio (multi-sector) in both French and English accounting.

Your Main Responsibilities Include

• Performing day-to-day bookkeeping for client files (data entry, account reconciliation, matching and checking accounts, bank reconciliations)
• Preparing VAT returns
• Preparing tax declarations
• Providing support and advisory services to clients

Profil Recherché

• You are Fluent French and English with a previous experience in an accounting firm You are detail-oriented and well-organized.
• BTS, DUT in Accounting, AAT or Part Qualified ACCA would be a plus
• You enjoy working as part of a team and maintain regular contact with colleagues from our other offices (London, Lisbon, Porto, St Germain en Laye, Paris).
