Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive French/Spanish lessons to secondary school students, ensuring adherence to the national curriculum and the school's guidelines.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to create a stimulating learning environment.
• Assess student progress, provide regular feedback, and devise strategies for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular initiatives and enhance students' learning experience.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in school events, professional development programs, and staff meetings as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a French/Spanish teacher in a secondary school setting.
• Extensive knowledge of the national curriculum and the ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize workloads.
• The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with educational advancements.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and relevant teaching qualifications (QTS, PGCE, etc.).
