Role: Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) – French and/or Spanish
Working Pattern: Part-Time (0.5 FTE)
Contract Type: Permanent contract offered after a probation period (temp-to-perm)
Salary: £30,000 to £47,000 (pro-rata)
Location: New Milton and surrounding areas
Are you a passionate and dedicated MFL teacher looking for a part-time role to inspire the next generation of global citizens? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and skilled Modern Foreign Languages teacher to join a supportive and welcoming secondary school in the New Milton area from January 2025.
This part-time position (50% equivalent) involves teaching French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach KS5. You will join a vibrant MFL department committed to high standards and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, high-quality French and/or Spanish lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Support and prepare students for GCSE exams and assessments.
Tailor teaching to meet the needs of all learners, fostering enthusiasm and progress.
Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the department.
Promote intercultural understanding through language and culture.
Degree in a relevant subject and PGCE with QTS/QTLS.
Experience teaching French and/or Spanish at the secondary level.
Effective classroom management and differentiated teaching skills.
A genuine passion for MFL and inspiring student achievement.
