Prospero Teaching is looking for a French and Spanish Teacher to join Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school located in Barnet to join the team in September 2024.

The Headteacher welcomes ECTS to apply to this French and Spanish teaching post, as an ECT you will be joining an award-winning school and the languages department teach French and Spanish up to KS5. This is a high achieving, 11 – 18 comprehensive school and will be teaching a KS3 – KS5 timetable.

This is a warm, welcoming, inclusive teaching and learning environment steeped in history and is a fantastic place to teach.

THE FRENCH AND SPANISH TEACHING JOB:
· French and Spanish teaching role
· Teaching Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 and possibly key stage 5
· French and Spanish is taught following AQA
· This is a mainstream, Ofsted Outstanding secondary school
· State of the art facilities
· Solid, well resourced, French and Spanish department
· Full time (5 days a week) teaching position including planning and marking.
· Parking is available on-site and the school is well-served by public transport

ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL FRENCH AND SPANISH TEACHER WILL BE
· Ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent
· A team player, able to lead and inspire colleagues and pupils alike.
· Someone who can manage students of different abilities and differentiate lessons in line with the needs of the students
· You will be proactive and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways.
