A thriving secondary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French and Spanish Teacher to join their vibrant Modern Foreign Languages department.

The Role: As a French and Spanish Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of language learning and developing students' communication skills in both French and Spanish.

Create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore new languages and cultures.

Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources, including authentic materials, interactive activities, and technology, to bring language learning to life.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated support to ensure each student reaches their full potential.

Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department to enhance the curriculum, share best practices, and organize enriching extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or trips abroad.

Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in French, Spanish, or a related field.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

A strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 French and Spanish curricula.

Fluency in both French and Spanish.

Experience teaching both French and Spanish in a secondary school setting.

Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
