Are you an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of French and Spanish, eager to start your teaching journey?

Our school is excited to welcome a passionate French and Spanish ECT to join their dynamic team. This full-time, permanent position is an excellent opportunity to launch your teaching career in a supportive and inspiring environment.

We are looking for a dedicated, motivated professional who is looking forward to working in a wonderfully diverse, multicultural school. Working with the Modern Foreign Languages Faculty, the successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and excellent classroom skills. If successful, you will be required to teach students from Key Stage 3 and 4, across the ability range.

Applicants MUST be a qualified teacher and hold UK QTS!

Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time. All applicants must have a Qualified Teacher Status awarded by the British Department of Education.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (MFL) - French and Spanish
  • Open to ECTs
  • September 2024 start
  • Permanent, full-time contract
  • MPS or UPS Outer London Pay
  • Plan, prepare and share courses, schemes of work and individual lessons, appropriate to the needs, interests, experience and existing knowledge of students
  • Working with an Outstanding team of MFL Teachers
  • Plan, organise and / or take part in Day trips or trips abroad

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • ECT French and Spanish Teachers
  • Must have the ability to teach both French and Spanish
  • UK QTS is a MUST
  • Sound knowledge of the developments in the current curriculum for the subject
  • Enthusiasm and passion for teaching
  • Proven record of Good & Outstanding practice
  • A commitment to the extra-curricular life of the school
  • A desire to pursue own professional development and to support that of colleagues
