Due to ongoing growth, they are now seeking a Freight Sales Coordinator to join their Heathrow office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in freight sales, with a clear route into a field-based BDM role in the near future.

The Role:

In this office-based role, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and supporting senior sales management. The position is perfect for an ambitious individual who’s motivated by targets, thrives on the phone, and wants to be part of a fast-moving, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate and qualify new leads through cold calling, research, and networking
  • Build rapport with prospective clients and manage ongoing relationships
  • Collaborate with senior management to support sales planning and performance
  • Manage CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) to track all leads, calls, and appointments
  • Book a minimum of 5 qualified sales appointments per week for the Sales Director
  • Maintain 40+ outbound calls per day to drive opportunity generation
  • Assist in preparing tailored freight solutions and commercial proposals
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction throughout the sales process
  • Contribute to the introduction and rollout of new logistics services

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Freight forwarding/logistics experience preferred, but not essential
  • Highly ambitious, target-driven, and looking to step into a field-based BDM role
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers
  • Comfortable working in a high-activity, KPI-led environment
  • Confident using CRM systems and keeping accurate sales records
