Position: Sea and Road Freight Pricing Specialist

Location: Wakefield (Office-Based)

Salary: Up to 32,000 per annum

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30 - 17:00

A well-established logistics and freight forwarding company based in Wakefield is seeking a Sea and Road Freight Pricing Specialist to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in freight pricing who is looking to take the next step in their logistics career.

About The Role

As a Pricing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial team by providing accurate and competitive pricing for both sea and road freight services. You'll work closely with carriers, agents, and internal teams to ensure pricing is timely and aligns with market conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue competitive quotes for sea and road freight services
• Liaise with shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas agents to obtain rates
• Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to maximise profitability
• Support sales and operations teams with rate requests and customer queries
• Maintain accurate pricing records and systems

• Experience in sea and/or road freight forwarding pricing (1+ year preferred)
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with MS Excel and industry software systems
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
