Position: Freight Operations Supervisor

Location, Southampton

Salary: up to £55,pa

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-17:00pm

Our client is a privately owned freight forwarding specialist, covering ocean air and European road & domestic freight services. Due to a recent promotion, we are now seeking an experienced multi-modal freight operations supervisor to help lead and support a dedicated team of operators.

Freight Operations Supervisor Overview:

We are seeking a Freight Forwarding Operations Supervisor to support, lead, and mentor a team of operational freight coordinators. The ideal candidate will be proficient in door-to-door ocean import/export operations, with multi-modal experience preferred. The role involves managing import-export shipments and overseeing customs clearances while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise operations and manage team performance
• Oversee transport schedules and ensure timely deliveries
• Manage customs clearance processes and documentation
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Analyze data to optimize operations and reduce costs
