Overview

Job Title: Freight Imports Projects Assistant

Location: Felixstowe

Our client, a well-established and privately-owned freight forwarding company, is seeking an ambitious, proactive and enthusiastic Freight Imports Projects Assistant to join their growing team based in Felixstowe.

As Freight Imports Projects Assistant, a typical day will involve helping with UK import business including booking deliveries, release requests, warehousing and European road etc.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience from a freight forwarding background is preferred, particularly if you have used Destin8/CNS.
• Basic knowledge of booking sea freight and/or customs would be an advantage, but is not essential.
• Transport Clerks coming from haulage companies would also be considered.

Salary

Up to £28,000, in line with skills and experience.
