Freight Forwarding Sales Account Executive – Up to £35,000, Plus impressive bonus structure – Hybrid working

Our client, a large multi-site UK-based Logistics company, is recruiting an experienced Sales Account Manager to join their growing business in Manchester.

The right candidate will contact existing customers to seek additional business opportunities or follow up with previous clients. There is no cold calling involved; all calls are with pre-existing customers.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Seek, develop, and secure new opportunities with existing and past clients
  • Make outbound telesales calls to generate and identify new business
  • Maintain and develop existing accounts, upselling additional services
  • Manage new accounts with the aim of becoming the sole supplier
  • Handle quotations and operational aspects of Sea, Air, and European Road movements
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Actively promote the brand and provide exceptional customer service

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Air & Sea / European sales and operations (UK based)
  • Commercially focused with a strong customer service passion
  • Self-motivated, driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Confident communicator passionate about their work
  • Ability to manage customer accounts and build relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Proven sales targets achievement and new business development
  • Experience with a UK-based Freight Forwarder
