Freight Forwarding Contracts Manager

Job Description:

Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) is the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR operates across the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.

We are seeking a Freight Forwarding Contracts Manager for a 12-month contract based in Leatherhead.

Responsibilities / Experience:

• Develop contract strategies for Global Freight Forward Scope of Work (SoW) related to Projects.
• Prepare and execute Expressions of Interest (EOI) and Prequalification questionnaires, and analyze the responses.
• Prepare and issue tender documentation.
• Compile tender lists and obtain necessary approvals.
• Ensure tender packages are complete and viable.
• Strategize and conduct tender clarification meetings.
• Facilitate communication with tenderers; issue tender bulletins and clarification documents.
• Carry out technical and commercial negotiations and evaluations in a timely manner.
• Prepare and manage the issuance of contracts and related documentation.
• Conduct Kick-Off Meetings.
• Plan, develop, and execute post-award contract management activities.
• Responsible for Contract Close-out.
• Report contract progress from Pre-Award to Post-Award stages through Project Systems.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Freight Forwarding Contracting within Oil & Gas projects.
• Knowledge of LNG Projects is advantageous.

• Collaborates with multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Engages with Contractors, Clients, and KBR Stakeholders.

Education:

BSc. or university degree in Legal, Business, or Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or equivalent.
