Job summary

BRCK Group is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its expanding logistics team. You will oversee the complete forwarding process from quotation through invoicing, coordinating international shipments and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have UK and international customs knowledge, familiarity with Destin8, and hands-on experience with European road freight operations, delivering a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK and international customs formalities.
• Familiarity with customs systems; Destin8 is a plus.
• Understanding of Iberian, Italian, Benelux and Chinese markets.
• Knowledge of European road freight operations.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage freight forwarding activities from quotation to final invoicing.
• Coordinate import and export shipments with compliance to customs/regulations.
• Liaise with customers, shipping lines, hauliers, customs authorities and overseas agents.
• Negotiate competitive rates with shipping lines and haulage providers.
• Monitor shipments and resolve operational challenges promptly.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and clear communication throughout shipment lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Support the growth and development of the forwarding operation.
