Freight Forwarder (Ocean)

Through strategic growth of their company, my client is looking to add an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarder to their busy import/exports team. This is an ideal opportunity to join an established business where they value job stability, security and growth opportunities.

If you are comfortable in organising efficient movement of containers globally, ensuring the customer is kept up to date and their goods are being moved in the most efficient manner and want to join a business where you're not just a number, this could be an ideal career move for you.

The Role:

• Routing/Tracking of Containers globally
• Communicating with customers regarding collection/deliveries
• Accurate completion of Invoices
• Placing bookings with carriers.
• Create customs entries when required
• Keep clients advised of any delays in pick up/sailing
• Issue Bill of Lading Instructions to carriers prior to documentation cut.
• Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm

The Person:

• Will have previous Ocean Freight Experience
• Come from either an Import or Export background
• Be comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels
• Will have great attention to detail
• Enjoys working in a team environment
