Job summary

Une entreprise bien établie dans le domaine du fret cherche un coordinateur de fret aérien expérimenté pour rejoindre leur équipe à Heathrow. Dans ce rôle clé, vous gérerez les opérations de fret aérien de bout en bout, assurez un service client exceptionnel et collaborez étroitement avec les équipes internes. Cette position nécessite un minimum de 2-3 ans d'expérience avec un transitaire britannique et une connaissance approfondie des procédures d'import/export.

Air Freight Coordinator

Location: Gatwick

Salary: Up to 41,000

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Our client, a well-established multi-site freight forwarder with UK and international operations, is looking for an experienced Air Import/Export Coordinator to join their team in Heathrow. This is a key role managing end-to-end air freight operations, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Manage and coordinate air freight import and export shipments
• Liaise with overseas agents, carriers, and clients
• Arrange and track shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations
• Prepare and check shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs entries)
• Monitor shipments and address any delays or issues
• Coordinate with internal warehouse and transport teams
• Deliver excellent customer service and timely updates
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operational flow
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience with a UK-based freight forwarder
• Strong knowledge of air import/export procedures and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well-organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in freight forwarding systems and MS Office
• Ability to manage full operational cycle (start to finish)
