DK Recruitment is working with a major player in international freight forwarding to recruit an experienced Freight Forwarder. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a dynamic team that plays a vital role in connecting supply chains across the globe.
You ll be responsible for coordinating and delivering end-to-end freight solutions across Air, Sea, and Road. We re looking for someone who is confident, customer-focused, and skilled in managing operational logistics with attention to compliance, financials, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full cycle of freight forwarding activities for import/export shipments
  • Handle customer communication, quotes, bookings, customs entries, and invoicing
  • Maintain job costing, milestone tracking, and ensure compliance with SOPs and KPIs
  • Use CargoWise and Microsoft Office tools efficiently
  • Assist with monthly reporting and department compliance
  • Ensure customer and supplier relationships are maintained to a high standard
  • Liaise with sales and operations for rate reviews and customer development
  • Support wider operations team and contribute to best practice processes
  • Participate in internal/external audits and customer reviews when required
  • Maintain a clean desk policy and contribute to a professional office environment
What We re Looking For
  • Previous experience in freight forwarding and logistics (Air, Sea, or Road)
  • A track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures and international transport processes
  • Good understanding of cost control and financial impact in logistics
  • Working knowledge of industry systems, particularly CargoWise (or similar TMS)
  • Able to work independently while supporting a team
  • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and comfortable with fast-paced operations
  • Flexible to work shifts or weekends as required
Qualifications & Skills

  • Comfortable reading and following SOPs and structured workflows
