WINCANTON Freezer Warehouse Colleague ASDA Rochdale - Full time permanent, 14-22.00 hrs shift, working any 5 days out of 7 as per rota provided by the company.

The Role

You will be responsible for correctly and effectively carrying out all the required functions, once trained to do so, in any area of the warehouse, such as order picking, loading, FLT, cross-dock, loading/unloading trailers – plus many more. All work must be carried out in a timely fashion to a high standard of accuracy.

You must have minimum 2 years of experience working in a freezer environment and 2 years of MHE experience to be considered for this role.

How will you contribute?

• Reporting to Warehouse Line Managers
• Undertaking loading, picking, and unloading duties, which involve lifting heavy stock/products
• Carrying out a variety of warehouse duties, including pallet truck operation and mechanical handling equipment
• Preparing store orders accurately, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard
• Being responsible for health and safety, adhering to safe working practices

What will you bring?

• Minimum 2 years warehouse experience in a freezer environment
• Minimum 2 years experience loading vehicles using MHE (such as LLOP and PPT)
• Self-starter attitude
• Flexibility to assist in all warehouse areas with a team-based approach
• Good attention to detail, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to work accurately under restricted timescales

Salary and Benefits

Basic salary: £12.85 per hour.

• Overtime (same day): £13.30
• Overtime on days off: £18.45
• Night allowance (6pm to 6am): £13.79
• Weekend work: extra £1.48 per hour
