Job summary

JJ Foodservice in the UK is hiring a Freezer Operative for night shift. You will work in our warehouse to prepare pallets of frozen items for loading and ensure items are stored in the correct locations.

The role requires previous experience, good English, strong teamwork, and physical capability for lifting. We offer a permanent contract, training, discounts, profit-share, and other benefits through the JJ family program.

Responsibilities

• Preparing pallets of frozen items that will be loaded onto our lorries.
• Store items safely in the correct location.
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required.
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required.
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items.

Freezer Operative – Night Shift

Salary: £27,900.00 per annum

We are looking for applicants who have:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent people skills, as well as being a great team player
• Good communication skills
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
• A good standard of spoken English
