Job summary

JJ Foodservice is seeking a Freezer Operative – Night Shift to join our Newcastle warehouse team. You will handle pallets, keep stock in the right location, and support our distribution operations behind the scenes.

The role offers a permanent contract, training, and opportunities for progression; you should enjoy teamwork, be physically active, and have good English; eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Physically active due to heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Preparing pallets of frozen items that will be loaded onto our lorries.
• Store items safely in the correct location.
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required.
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required.
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items.

Salary: £27,900.00 per annum

We are looking for applicants who have:

• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
• A good standard of spoken English
