About The Opportunity

• Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in Australian English to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
• This freelance opportunity is remote and offers flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever is best for you.
• Your tasks will include reading Australian English text to rank responses produced by an AI model, writing short stories in Australian English on given topics, and assessing the factual accuracy of AI-generated Australian English texts.
• Ideal candidates may have experience as professional translators and be enrolled in or have completed an undergraduate program in a humanities or related writing field, or a graduate program in creative writing.

Payment

• The average pay rate for Australian English writing experts on core projects is approximately USD $25.00 per hour.
• Rates may vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For initial onboarding or overtime, lower rates may apply, and some projects may include incentive payments. Please review specific payment terms for each project.
