Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile, highly skilled Videographer & Video Editor to handle end-to-end video production—from initial filming through to final colour grade and delivery.
In this role, you will lead on-location shoots across London and execute high-standard post-production remotely. You must supply your own professional camera, audio, and lighting gear, along with your own licensed editing suite. The ideal candidate works autonomously, thinks proactively on set, and has a strong track record of creating polished corporate videos, executive interviews, and dynamic social content.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Filming:
- Direct and capture high-quality corporate content, talking-head/executive interviews, event coverage, and social-first video assets.
- Manage multi-point lighting setups and capture clean, broadcast-grade audio in diverse (and occasionally challenging) acoustic environments.
- Maintain composure and efficiency under tight production schedules, adapting quickly to changes on set.
Post-Production
- Ingest, organize, assemble, and edit raw footage into compelling visual narratives.
- Perform high-standard colour grading, audio mixing, sound design, and clean dialogue editing.
- Create basic motion graphics, lower thirds, title cards, and brand-consistent graphic overlays.
- Deliver platform-optimized exports across various aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) tailored for corporate communications, web, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Manage revisions efficiently based on stakeholder feedback while meeting strict project deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven professional track record as a solo shooter/editor producing corporate videos, case studies, interviews, and branded social content.
- Equipment Ownership: Must own and bring to set a professional kit, including:
- 4K-capable cinema or mirrorless camera setup (with versatile, high-grade lenses).
- Professional field audio kit (wireless lavaliers, shotgun mic, audio recorder/preamps).
- Versatile continuous lighting setup (key, fill, rim lights with modifiers and stands).
- Supporting grip gear (tripods, gimbals/stabilizers).
- Software: Own an active Adobe Creative Cloud license (expert proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition; DaVinci Resolve proficiency is also welcome).
- Technical Mastery: In-depth understanding of camera mechanics, exposure, composition, three-point lighting, multi-channel sound capture, and colour science (LOG/RAW workflows).
- Location: Based in or within easy commuting distance of Central London and fully available for on-site shoot dates as needed.
- Work Ethic: Highly reliable, self-directed, organized with file management/backups, and communicative throughout pre- and post-production.
