What You Would Get To Do

The Sustainability Consultant will help develop and implement our organisation’s sustainability strategy, with a focus on environmental, social and governance topics. Drive initiatives to reduce our environmental impact, implement sustainable practices, and inspire positive change. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, and ensure our commitment to corporate social responsibility exceeds expectations. If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact on both the environment and our business, this is your opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable tomorrow. We are looking for a freelancer to provide services for not less than 2-3 days per week or as required for project completion.

Your Contributions

  • Play a key role in the development of the firm's volunteer programme
  • Assist in collecting ESG-related information internally (B Corp and GHG emissions)
  • Help prepare ESG reporting information and manage the production of our annual sustainability report
  • Involvement in materiality assessments, impact assessments, and review of stakeholder engagements
  • Preparing net-zero roadmaps
  • Develop internal and external communications across various channels to promote sustainability at FIRST
  • Help drive and deploy the DE&I approach
  • Support the sustainability team on administrative tasks (set up meetings, prepare and communicate agendas, write up minutes)

What We Are Looking For

  • Have an understanding of corporate environmental and social issues
  • Over 5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in a sustainability-related role
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Marketing/communication and People and Culture teams
