Job summary

Max Dignam Interiors is seeking a creative freelance Social Media & Content Assistant to develop and manage our Instagram presence from London. You will curate content, schedule posts, edit photos and short videos, and craft captions in a refined, design-led voice.

The role requires 4–6 hours weekly with flexible scheduling and potential growth. Ideal candidates have a strong eye for interiors, art and design, plus experience with Instagram formats and Adobe Creative Suite.

Salary £25-£30 per hour, depending on experience.

Hours Approximately 4-6 hours per week, flexible and arranged around the freelancer's availability.

Max Dignam Interiors is a London-based interior design studio working on high-end residential projects in the UK and internationally.

We are looking for a creative, visually minded freelance Social Media & Content Assistant to help develop and manage our Instagram presence.

Working closely with the studio, the role will include:

• Curating and planning Instagram content that reflects the studio’s aesthetic and design approach.
• Creating and scheduling Instagram posts, stories and reels using existing project photography, design imagery and behind-the-scenes content.
• Editing photography and short-form videos for social media.
• Writing engaging, thoughtful captions in keeping with the studio’s tone of voice.
• Helping develop creative content ideas and identifying opportunities to share our projects, design process and inspirations.
• Maintaining a cohesive and considered visual identity across our Instagram.
• Occasionally visiting the studio, project sites or installations in London to capture content.

This is a flexible freelance position, initially requiring approximately 4-6 hours per week, with the opportunity to develop the role over time.

We are particularly interested in finding someone with a strong creative eye, an appreciation for interiors, art and design, and a natural understanding of social media.

Skills and Experience Required

We are looking for someone creative, organised and proactive, with excellent visual taste and a genuine interest in interiors, art, architecture and design.

Ideally, you will have:

• A strong understanding of Instagram, including posts, stories, reels and current content formats.
• An excellent eye for photography, composition, colour and visual storytelling.
• Experience creating and editing social media content, either professionally or through personal creative projects.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar editing software.
• Good written communication skills and the ability to write thoughtful, engaging captions.
• An organised, independent approach to work and the confidence to suggest creative ideas.
• An appreciation for high-end interiors and editorial design.

Previous experience working with an interior design studio, creative agency or luxury lifestyle brand would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Above all, we are looking for someone with great taste, enthusiasm and a strong creative instinct.
