Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking a Freelance Site Manager for a hospital refurbishment project in the UK. The role runs for 4 weeks with potential extension, reporting to the Project Manager and senior management. Experience in commercial or hospital environments is required and a driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential.

You will uphold H&S standards, monitor progress, and coordinate with design teams, consultants and client representatives, while supporting commissioning and handovers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years experience as a Site Manager in commercial projects.
• Hospital refurbishment experience is preferred.
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager and senior management.
• Maintain H&S standards and ensure contractor compliance.
• Monitor site progress and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants and client representatives.
• Liaise with the client regularly.
• Assist with commissioning and final handovers.
