Job summary

First Task Professional seeks an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a roofing project in Houston. The role requires proven site management within construction, with heritage building experience and essential SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS credentials.

You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors, uphold health and safety standards, monitor the programme and quality, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure works are delivered to specification.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction/roofing sector
• Demonstrable experience working on listed or heritage buildings - evidence will be required
• SMSTS qualification
• First Aid qualification
• CSCS card
• Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements
• Ability to manage subcontractors, trades and site activities effectively
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to maintain high standards of workmanship and site compliance
