Rate: £350 per day CIS

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 10-month contract (until August 2026)

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking to take on a major, fast-paced development? This is an opportunity to join a highly respected main contractor delivering a £25 million new-build distribution facility in Chatteris. The project forms part of a wider programme of industrial and logistics developments that are redefining the regional landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out, surveying, and carrying out QA checks on-site
• Ensuring all works meet design specifications and safety standards
• Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and the design team
• Producing accurate reports and maintaining site records
• Supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of works on site

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large industrial or commercial projects
• Strong setting out and quality assurance background
• Proficient with Total Station and AutoCAD
• Relevant qualification (Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or related field)
• CSCS card essential
