My client, a reputable sub-contractor specialising in reinforced concrete (RC) and large-scale infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to support delivery on a Converter Station project in Selby.

THE ROLE:
•Setting Out for RC works – including basements, slabs, and vertical slipform structures
•High-Level QA: Maintaining and compiling QA documentation to stringent standards
•Working to tight tolerances – critical for the integrity of structural elements
•Coordination with site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate delivery
•Supporting the management of temporary works and concrete pour sequences

THE CANDIDATE:
•Proven experience as a Site Engineer on RC frame or heavy civils projects
•Strong QA and document control skills
•Competent in using Total Stations, AutoCAD, and digital QA systems
•Experience with slipform construction
•Valid CSCS Card
•Professional Attitude and Strong Communication (Written & Verbal)
