Your new company: Your new company is a specialist contractor, operating primarily in the waste and renewable energy sectors with a continuously expanding portfolio of works. Due to recent contract awards, the company is expanding in size and profile and is now seeking a Freelance SHEQ Advisor/Consultant to join their experienced HSEQ team.
Your new role: As a SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing HSEQ on a range of small-medium sized schemes. You will create and complete risk assessments and method statements, conduct site audits and inspections regularly. You will lead and deliver health & safety initiatives with the support of a strong HSEQ team to raise awareness of risks and hazards. You will be site-based 5 days per week.
What you'll need to succeed: You will have a proven track record working in a similar role within waste/energy for waste or engineering environments. Previous experience is beneficial. You’ll demonstrate a working knowledge of SHEQ standards & audit procedures, with a sound understanding of implementing integrated ISO standards (14001, 45001 & 9001) throughout a live project. You must be NEBOSH qualified and have several years’ experience in a SHEQ role.
