Job Description:

Salt is working with a leading PR agency looking for a freelance SEO Specialist to develop and implement effective SEO strategies to enhance clients’ visibility on Google search. The focus will be on improving individual reputation and managing search engine results for the DACH region.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local market, culture, and language, along with a proven track record in SEO.

• Hybrid or remote working – must be UK based
• Immediate start rolling contract

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic for clients in the DACH region
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify optimisation opportunities
• Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, images, and on-page elements, to improve search engine visibility
• Monitor and analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools
• Manage online reputation for individual clients, ensuring positive search engine results

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SEO focusing on the DACH region
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
• Experience with on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
• Native or fluent in German is a strong plus
• Knowledge of online reputation management is a plus
