A construction company in West London is seeking a freelance Senior Site Manager for a 40-week, £10M D & B Fit Out project. Responsibilities include managing site inductions, supervising safety protocols, and coordinating with a BREEAM consultant. Candidates must have IT skills, CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications, along with experience in new build and fit outs. The project begins on 4th August and interviews will be conducted ASAP.

Qualifications

• Ability to log necessary information and documentation.

Job description

Senior Site Manager - immediate requirement

Reporting into a site based Project Manager, with a Site Manager reporting in.

Our client is looking to engage a freelance Senior Site Manager for a 40 weeks, £10M D & B Fit Out with some demolition and new structural elements for a project in West London.

Scope of works to include, demolition of stairs, subdividing the large building into two, building a party wall. 50%of the building will then be demolished at a later stage by another contractor.

A small extension to the front of the building and the fit out of 24 las + 24 offices, toilets, break out area's etc.

The project Manager will manage the client interface, master programme etc, the Site Manager will be responsible for site inductions, Safety and general supervisions.

The person they are looking for, will need to posses decent IT skills as this is a Breeam rated project and all the necessary information and documentation needs to be logged. In terms of the Breeam, there is an office based person who will also be involved and coordinate with an external Breeam consultant.

Ideally have some experience in new build construction as this project will have elements as well as a solid grounding in fit outs.

MUST have usual certification, CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid.

The project starts 4th August and the client will want to meet and engage ASAP.
