Ganymede Solutions is recruiting a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major UK water sector investment programme, seconded into Severn Trent. The role focuses on commercial management of a portfolio of NEC-based contracts and strong stakeholder collaboration.

You'll be responsible for cost control, valuations and change management on infrastructure projects, with 4 days per week office/site presence in Tamworth. Day rate £500 Inside IR35 with long-term freelance commitment.

Qualifikationen

• NEC3/NEC4 contract experience.
• Experience on major infrastructure or capital delivery projects.
• Strong cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Experience managing change and compensation events.
• Procurement, valuations and final accounts knowledge.
• Water/utilities/civil infrastructure environment experience.

Aufgaben

• Commercial and contractual management of NEC3/NEC4 projects.
• Cost control, forecasting and budget management.
• Assessment of contractor applications and payment valuations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to manage commercial performance.
• Manage compensation events and project changes.
• Review Defined Cost for commercial decision making.
• Procurement and tender evaluation.
• Identify and manage commercial and contractual risk.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting.
• Support resolution of contractual issues and claims.
• Manage projects through to final account.
• Build relationships with contractors and project stakeholders.
• Support wider commercial team as needed.
