Freelance Senior Producer / Studio Manager

We are looking for a brilliant and experienced Freelance Senior Producer for a 3-month full time fixed term contract starting at the beginning of July.

You will help support our Client Service and Creative teams with managing film projects and the creative studio workflow.

Reporting to the Head of Studio, with a dotted line to the COO, you’ll be responsible for creating detailed timing and project plans, assisting with writing project briefs with the Creative team, and managing studio resources to ensure seamless production workflows.

Responsible for:

• Act as a point of contact between internal teams and the Studio.
• Working with Client Service internally to develop comprehensive project plans and timing schedules for film projects, animation and production ensuring all phases, no matter how big or small (pre-production, shoot, post-production) are effectively mapped out.
• Assist in writing clear, concise project briefs in collaboration with Client Service.
• Ensure project budgets are clearly defined, developed and maintained in accordance with the requirements.
• Track project progress with Client Service and adapt plans as necessary to meet deadlines, whilst ensuring the studio are fully aware of project status.
• Help organise and facilitate project meetings and updates between Client Service.
• Working with the Head of Studio to coordinate and manage studio resources, including booking freelance requirement.
• Support the studio team with resource allocation and scheduling needs.
• Proven experience in film or video production, preferably within a marketing or advertising agency.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to create detailed timing schedules and project documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks.
• Knowledge of production workflows and studio/resource management.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, or similar software) is a plus.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable.
• Familiarity with budget management and resource planning for film projects.
